On July 25, 2025, the Association’s attorney was contacted by CBS News regarding the lawsuit filed by the plaintiffs. Despite the Association providing information through counsel, CBS chose to feature former Board member Jorge Castillo in its coverage. Mr. Castillo, who concealed his face during the broadcast, used the platform to advance misinformation and mislead the public. His actions not only misrepresented the facts but also attempted to damage the reputation and integrity of our community at Brickell on the River South
